Meet Alina
Hello! My name is Alina and I’m the founder and designer behind GiantFlowersUSA. I’m a wife, a passionate crafter, and a coffee lover. From my childhood, I loved art and crafts in all forms.
My mother was CEO of 3 museums, one of which was the Museum of Art.
So all my childhood I was growing in an atmosphere of amusement and inspiration.
I graduated with a Masters degree in finance however I always was driven to do everything crafty. That’s why I started many small projects. One of which is GiantFlowersUSA. I always loved flowers but hated it when they were dying after a while because I never was good at gardening them. That’s why I decided to create flowers that will always bloom and be everlasting. While I was looking for the best materials for such a project I created flowers from so many different materials! Paper, Italian Crepe Paper, Silk, Different Fabrics, and Foam. And believe me, it’s such a unique feeling when you are making all the petals, stems, and leaves! Now after over a hundred flowers, I developed many techniques and secret tips to make the most Fairy Flowers and I want to share it with you!
Silk Butterflies
I always had a problem with jewelry, especially with earrings, that's why I've decided to create jewelry with Butterflies, Moths, and Dragonflies of silk so this way all jewelry is eye-catching and light at the same moment! You can wear Earrings all day and don't even feel them in the evening! That’s how I started the OhMyButterfly project!
All Butterflies and jewelry are created by me and my girls team in Ukraine, using the inspiration that gives us nature, real Butterflies!
And of course, no Butterflies were killed for this! I stand up against killing nature for its beauty! And I believe that Butterflies don't need to be killed if you like them.
The main idea of my creations - the uniqueness and tenderness.
Each Butterfly is made with love, as close to a live Butterflies, as in nature.

Do you love old paintings like Van Gogh’s “Starry Night” or “The Kiss” by Klimpt? I adore them! And I always wanted to have some clothing in such a style! And while I was assembling a team of girls in Ukraine one of the girls was a tailor so together we made a little tailor-made clothing line inspired by Renaissance!
